Sandra is an Australian Dr who has a knack for providing a simple explanation of physiology (how the body works). In this book she provides a great lead in to understanding the livers role and signs and symptoms to look out for when it is overburdened. This book offers an 8 week diet to spring clean the liver, and give you some ideas of how to modify your diet in the future.
MENOPAUSE – SANDRA CABOT
Again in her usual accessable style Sandra helps give lifestyle advice and treatment options for moving gracefully through Menopause.

A great hands on book that gives you the Eastern approach to addressing Sub – fertility through many things you can try for yourself.
THE FERTILITY SOURCE BOOK – SARA ROSENTHALL
Sara gives a Western Medical overview of the many investigations and treatments that a couple can expect to go through when dealing with Sub – fertility. Her description of the many aspects of fertility is simple and insightful. She is writing about theĀ American Reproductive approach, however much of it is available here in New Zealand. What I also enjoyed about her book, is she lays out a process to go through that is thorough and prioritizes less invasive investigation first.
NATURAL FERTILITY – FRANCESCA NAISH
Australian Naturopath and creator of the Jocelyn center, Francesca gives a comprehensive approach to learning about your fertility and how to support it. I also recommend her other book - Better babies, for those that want to have a guide for natural therapies during pregnancy.
OTHER
THE ALPHABET VERSUS THE GODDESS – LEONARD SHLAIN
I have not read this one, however a dear friend has. It is a brain surgeons investigation into how civilisation was before and after the advent of the written word. The title gives you some clue as to what the author discovered.
